The 3rd CLASA SHOW was on 1 June 2014 in Durbanville.
The show was in collaboration with the Durbanville Petz Expo and was part of a group of 5 shows during the weekend. It was joined by AICA, OSRBG, SACATS, all putting on Independent shows, as well as a SACATS Ring show at the same venue, over two days. It was once again a success and the PDSA joined us once again, with a large stall and presence in the same tent as the cat shows. The show was supported by a large number of exhibitors. Well done to all the winners and participants, their owners and breeders and thank you to Royal Canin for the great sponsorship. We opened the show with a minute of silence, in memory of Jean van Zyl's son and Roy Wood, who passed away recently. We remembered both and shared in Jean and Carol's grief. Roy will be remembered for his enthusiasm and hard work at various organisations' shows and for breeding beautiful Russian Blue, Black and White cats in Amanzimtoti, KZN. He loved his plants, his cats and lived a full life.
The format of this show was the same as other Independent Shows, with the judges nominating their Judges Best. The Overall Best was chosen from the 5 Judges Best. The winners recieved lovely rosettes and product prizes sponsored by Royal Canin and Cats Best. There were also may spot prizes donated by Royal Canin and each exhibit received a gift.
