The 2nd CLASA SHOW was on 27 April 2014 in George.
The show was in collaboration with the PDSA, George and was followed by an OSRBG show and a SACATS Ring show in the same hall, on the same day. It was a resounding success and the PDSA benefited from the profit made due to the large number of visitors and the various raffles, kiosk and other dotations. Great fun was had by all and the consensus is that this needs to become an annual event. The show was supported by many Cape Town exhibitors who made it a weekend away. Well done to all the winners and participants, their owners and breeders and well done to the local organisers in George.
The format of this show was the same as other Independent Shows, with the judges nominating their Judges Best. Judges who judged more than one category could nominate one cat per category. The Overall Best was chosen from the 5 Judges Best. The winners recieved lovely rosettes and product prizes sponsored by Hills and Cats Best. Dr Wally Fogarty, well known Bengal breeder and exhibitor donated a lovely leather and silver collar for the Overall Best and a cup originally donated by the large French Independent club, Chats de France, years ago was also won by the Overall Best In show. Well done to all.
